A Closer Look at a Dragonfly

I recently had the opportunity to take numerous shots of a dragonfly with my macro lens.  For whatever reason this guy was quite content with sitting still while I snapped away.  As a result, I got a level of detail that I haven't been able to obtain in the past.

    Nice job posting multiple pictures. Looks like you figured it out. These flying creatures always make me flinch but they are quite amazing! Nice photos.

    Hey Wendi. Thanks for the comment. Yes I finally figured out how to import multiple images from Flickr. I had some help from a Twitter contact, who pointed me in the right direction.

    Phenomenal shots, Mike! I have shot many dragonflies that sit still for me but I still can't quite get this level of clarity. Bravo!
